    Will Holman’s Audi Quattro

Just incase some of you have not come across Practial performance magazine its well worth a read, especially when one of the writers has a ur quattro which he has fitted a 20v lump to.

The cars coming along well with will sorting out the problems that have arose mostly thru animals and mg's, when it was last mentioned in the magazine it was running (a bit smokily) using an emerald ecu

I for one enjoy reading how he gets on in each magazine and seeing what ways he solves problems.

Worth picking a copy up next time your out, also to see some of the other project that they are working on.

    27 litre sd1

    Turbo roll's royce shadow

    V8 transit

    and will's car

I wonder how the guy with the V12 SD1 gets away with using a plastic windscreen?

(And I am still trying to work out what a rear splitter is - front splitter, yes - rear splitter, no way!)

@ keeper of the kitten, I think i read that there is no law to say you have to have a windscreen for the MOT so i think he takes it out for that.IIRC dont quote me on that though.

I think this is one of the best mags out, I've been rreading it for over two years now and have loved the projects.
@acidburn you forgot the BMW that the guy built on his drive,E30 with a M535i lump then turbo'd it and even had ago at mapping it himself.

Top mag and by the sounds of it a top set of blokes.
Just some finishing touches to do now

Will Holman is on here Willholmania http://www.s2forum.com/forum/member.php?u=5303

I know he was posting on here when he was on the lookout for bits for the 20v conversion.

I agree that the i/c is not a personal fave and hasn't Djones' urq got 2 i/cs with the MAF in between them......(awaits to be corrected.......)

Great mag, best since the late, lamented CCC (for those of us old enough to remember..)

Yeah toby unna's beemer was one of my favorite projects but unfortunately he's had to strip it which was a real shame as it looked like it was a bit of a handfull.

Yeah charlie broomfield takes out the windscreen for the mot as its not a requirement.

I've actually got nearly every magazine bar about 5 and its definately one I'd read and for the first time ever actually got a subscription.

I get it every month, the engine knackered that he bought IIRC and that's why there is no progress.
